Another Tool Gloat

My builder gave me a 25% coupon for Home Depot that was expiring today 11/25, and I was able to snag two new items for the shop.

1. A Ridgid Spindle Sander was $199.00 w/discount $149.25
2. DeWalt 13 " Planer (DW735) was $499.00 w/discount 374.25 plus there was a DeWalt rebate of DeWalt Random Orbit Sander with the purchase of the planer.

A good day at the box store.

This month's Fine Woodworking has a spindle sander review and they picked the Rigid as both best overall and best value - I'd like to hear what you think.

I have the Dewalt planner and really like it, I'm sure you will too!
