I know this design has been done to death, but it was fun building these.
Sapele and Spalted birch
Curly wormy maple and Bloodwood.
Both have handles I made of Bloodwood and holly.
I got lazy on the drawers. I dovetailed the top and screwed and plugged the rest.
I use a dovetail center drawer guide that keeps them from sliding down the hill.
This was a good learning project. Every joint was a different angle, so I had to figure a way.
Rather than doing that complicated and time consuming task, each rail is grooved into the back of the legs.
A good example of the design rule of “ Design the look you want. Then figure out how to build it”
Thanks for the kind words.
