I drove 266 miles one way to pick up my planer and jointer, of course that doesn't quite compare with how far Travis drove for his saw, or how far those guys that have gone to Grizzly have covered for their machinery, either.

GO for IT! don't let a little thing like a few miles get in the way of one serious hunk of iron!

18" is overkill for my needs. I was hoping one of you would snag a deal on the bigger planer. I would assist by buying your smaller planer (at a tidy savings for myself :wink_smil ).

Me with an 18" planer?? That would be like dirving a Maserati to deliver newspapers.

I did drive almost to GA to pick up my jointer.
