Where to find un-finished table legs?

I'm looking for some pre-made red oak table legs for my drafting table. I found this site but the prices seem kind of high but I don't know. http://www.tablelegs.com/Columns/CraftsmanEraColumns/LargeCraftsmanEraColumns36Inch.aspx Are these prices OK or are they on the high side? Anyone...

Code for running electrical in an unfinished attic?

Hopefully someone out there can let me know the right way to do this so that it is safe and to code. I will soon be installing 4 recessed fixtures in my bedroom (one in each corner, 3' from each wall) and will need to run the electrical from my existing switch box. The bedroom is on the 2nd...

In Search of Unfinished Maple flooring

Hey all I got a job to do and was wondering if anyone knew of where to look for Maple flooring. I mean the same sizing as the Red Oak flooring. And not from the Borg's please, Lol 3/4 " thick tongue and groove, yada yada, etc. Thanks MAC

A Source for Unfinished Chairs?

I'm looking for a local source that sells unfinished chairs (Concord/CLT area). I just completed building my oldest daughters desk and now I need a chair. Since I have not tried my hand at building chairs yet and my garage is flippin' cold, I thought I would just buy one and save a little...

Unfinished hardwood flooring as lumber?

Does anyone ever use 3/4" unfinished hardwood flooring for stock? You'd have to plane off the eased back and cut off the tongue and groove, but if you could get 5" or 6" boards cheap, would you? Thanks
