Please take a stab at identifying this pallet lumber

Snagged this today. Planks are 4 x 36" about 5/8" thick. Very dense / heavy. Had oxidized to a nice brown but was tan when I ran a plane over it. I took a look over at hobbithouse and it sort of seemed like acacia, but the end grain did not look right. Any thoughts? View image in gallery...

    Pallet junk

What are you guys getting for you pallet cants (4x6)? Going rate around here is 330 MBF, seems like a half way decent means to dump junk logs. Any comments / experience would be helpful. Thanks

Pallet jack in the Charlotte area....

Does anyone have a pallet jack in the Charlotte area I might be able to borrow for a day or two? I'm down in the Matthews area and hopefully will need one to move a new table saw around where I want it. Thank you. Steve
