A few Christmas presents . . .
I copied the Chinese characters are from a book on the I Ching. They stand for Happiness, Family and Creativity. I carved the small bowl from a scrap of Claro Walnut I got from Kyle some time ago. And the cutting board (24" x 13" as requested) is from some left over maple. Now I have to work...- PeteM

Finished Christmas gift - cherry and sapele box
Completed box for some of my daughters christmas more special tree ornaments. Box sides and panel on the top are Sapele, base and frame on lid are cherry. Colors turned out very similar though I only used clear satin Arm r seal for finish. Contrast in grain is more of what I was after. Also...- mark2
