Steve Good design is made using 1/4 and 1/2 inch material. I painted one red for Mario and one blue for sonic. I still get up in the mornings and play games for around 30 minutes with my coffee to get my mind fully awake.

Made for my friend Kenneth who is one of the original and founding members of the @themebanetraindisplay . Kenneth is in his 80s and is very knowledgeable about model trains and has a beautiful home layout in his basement.

I am no turner by any means on the level of some of the talented people here.
However, I turned this miniature goblet from a chunk of purple heart I happened to find in the free scrap bin at the Hardwood Store in Gibsonville.
Turned on a Wen Tool 8x12 benchtop lathe with Harbor Freight lathe...
Prehistoric Dinosaur Fossil, Scroll Saw Project.

I Still Play With Trains Scroll Saw Project
Steve Good design uses 1/4 inch plywood for the scroll work and 1/2 inch plywood for the backer boards, everything was cut with number 5 ultra reverse tooth scroll saw blades. And yes, at 34, I still play with trains! :)

I make all the frames for my work. Framing can be tedious. My method of making them is a bit unorthodox but my frames always come out precise.

Jesus Lives Scroll Saw Compound Cut Word Art.
