Heart pine flooring made into a box. Simple mitered and splined corners. The grooves on top are the bottom side of the flooring, The inside is flocked black and solid brass Brusso stop hinges hold the lid open. The box is about 10" w x 5-1/2" d x 5" t. The finish is 3 coats of Natural Danish oil and buffed out.
