We have a deck that's about 6 years old at this point. It is constructed from typical treated pine, and it is stained.
The problem we have is that the knots ooze sap over time, forming a crusty white blemish on the stained surface. It's time to re-coat it again, so I need to remove that sap. We've tried several different methods to remove the sap in the past and so far none of them have been satisfactory.
So I'm looking for any techniques for removing such sap that people have had success with. Thanks!
