This is from a 16' x 1.5" board that was on the property when we bought it. Finally decided to put it to use as a small entryway table top. Pretty sure it is white oak?

Definitely looks like oak. White oak has closed pores, while red oak has open pores. Take a short section with both ends fresh cut. Put one end in water and blow through the other end. If you can blow air through it (i.e., make bubbles) then it's probably red oak. Otherwise, white oak.

Red oak has medullary rays that are 1" or so. Those are much, much longer. A member of the white oak family it is.
