Haven't been as active here lately, but figured I would re-engage with the group and share a project I finished last year. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and have enjoyed these in our master bedroom.

Solid White oak carcass, base, legs and drawer faces. Plywood drawer box and shelf with white oak strip edge banding.

Edit: Finished with Rubio Monocoat pure

👌👌 Very modern design.

What was your finish schedule?

Thanks!

Finish schedule was really simple on these. I only did 1 coat of rubio. Applied with a t-shirt rag and buffed in with a maroon scotchbrite. Wiped off the excess and let dry for 24 hrs. I was plenty happy with that. They make a hardener that you can apply for extra protection afterwards, which I would probably opt for if it were a table or something that was going to take some abuse, but figured for bedside tables they were fine without. Nice thing with Rubio is it really doesn't take much. It's more pricey, but goes a long way so I think it evens out in the end price wise.
