Steve will certainly be in all our thoughts and we are all hoping for as speedy a recovery as possible.

For those who are new and not familiar with Steve Coles, back in 2005 he founded this website, later incorporated it into a non-profit educational corporation, and basically made all of this possible including establish the guiding principles of this site. He is not only our Founder but also one of the most respected members of this site...in essence this site's father figure.

I also know Steve has a bit of a stubborn streak as well (I think all of us who feel driven to achieve do), so that infection is going to have a heck of a fight on its hands (antigens, cilia? not sure what microbes have for hands!), my bet is unquestionably on Steve and his doctors! Take good care of him for us in the meantime.

Steve, it's only a month and a half till picnic, so get well QUICK! Having spent eleven wonderful (yeah right) days in hospital last fall, I can tell you that a hospital isn't a place to want to be. Thankfully we live in a area of EXCELLENT medical care.
