Tool problem

I have the PC 557 biscuit joiner, have used it a lot. The other night I was using it and it seemed to explode with lots of plastic pieces flying out. My question is should I get it repaired or buy a new one? If buying a new one which brand?

Lamello's are pretty much considered to be the top of the line in plate joiners, and then there is the Festool Domino if you really want the best.

The PC has been a great industry standard for years though. You may want to take it to an authorized repair center to see how much it would cost to get fixed.

Sounds like the cooling far bit the dust. If the fan is part of the armature, then a new machine is in order.

I have one just taking up space since I got the domino. You can have it, it should be in great shape
