I had one back in 1979 when I shared a custom framing and sign shop with my uncle.

They can be extremely accurate and efficient in making mitered corner frames. Well worth the money in a production environment.

I'd love to have one of those. I used one when I worked in a picture framing shop in the early 80s. Excellent tool.
