After much thought, I have decided to sell my antique #5 hand plane because I would rather have it go to someone appreciative rather than at an estate sale. It is a really sweet plane and I stopped using it after I found out how old it really was. Great condition and the Japanning is generally intact.

Hey @pop-pop do you still have this? Would you recommend it for regular use? Looking to get into more handtool woodworking and on the search for a good usable #5 (and maybe others). Thanks!

That's a good price and a good plane for someone getting started.

I'll let those in more need have first shot, but if it's still around I'll take it.
