Ive always done alot of custom cabinets / furniture and millwork. Its always been in my sights to build an interior or exterior door one day. Well, the chance finally came when a GC I do work for wanted some custom SYP doors for his own house. He couldnt find exactly what he wanted so he enlisted my help to make huis ideas reality. He needed 2 of them one, 34 and the other 36 wide x standard 80 tall Southern yellow pine. Shoutout to Hardwood Store - The Hardwood Store of North Carolina for helping me find the perfect material by unstacking and restacking piles for me!.

There is a full tenon at the ends of the rails that is 3/4 x 1 and I used 14mm x 100 long dominos total of 10 on each side.

Thanks Joe! A LOT of time was spent dry fitting parts, assy, disassy!

Rock solid! I like the combination of the big dominoes with the solid stub tenon.

I just had to supply the doors in the jambs, and yes, that 8/4 SYP is heavy!
