Hi all - hopefully all of the stuff in this add doesn’t get overlooked, but I didn’t want to flood the forum.

In an ever-progressing attempt to lay out a functional shop w/in “my half” of that garage, I’m passing along a few tools/ accessories that I do not need for my personal project uses.

Posting here before Marketplace and all of that. Reach out w/ any questions - thanks!

3. Sawstop overarm dust collection arm. I picked this up from another member earlier in the year w/ the intention to adapt it to my Unisaw, but ultimately went another way. In excellent shape and very well built. This is the “heavy duty” (and expensive!) upgraded 4” version for a DC, vs the small one that ships w/ most of the Sawstop’s. $275 for this group.

4. Vintage Delta-Rockwell 1460 lathe. I’m an OWWM guy, and hate to see this go, but I can’t justify the footprint for something I ever use. In fantastic original/ plug and play condition. Perfectly aligned and starts right up. Includes 3” and 12” rests, live and spur centers, a few quality turning tools, (Sorby), and the original single phase 110V Delta motor. I also picked up a Dayton 3 phase motor that I’ll include with it, that I intended to pair w/ a VFD for automated speed control vs adjusting the belts, should you want to do the same, (VFD not included). $650 for all, (lathe, tools, and spare 3PH motor) for this group.

I live in Sanford, but can bring everything but the lathe to my office in RTP if that’s easier for pickup.

Thanks!

As a fellow owwm guy, it's a shame I was just telling my wife I didn't want a lathe.
Ha - I hear you. I honestly never really turn myself. I picked it up initially for my son, to see if he had any interest in turning, (small/ "instant gratification" level projects), but he's not quite there yet age wise, and I cant justify the footprint. I may try again w/ a midi in a few years!

Any interest in selling the head separate?
Hey Phillip - LOTS of requests for that, and "maybe". I'd prefer to move them both through, (the box for the cutterhead doesn't take up any room - the PLANER does of course, ha).

I have the smaller SS overarm, the one they "give away" when you buy one of their fancy saws ( bought their 3hp PCS in 2019). It is alright, but the 2" (2.5"?) hose hookup is almost pointless, imo.

tvgeek\Scott... if you end up with the SS larger over arm.. please let me know how it works.... My HF DC pulls 98-98% of the dust from the 4" hookup on the bottom of the TS, but I'd be interested in seeing how it would pull from the larger over arm, too. I know you have the 5hp (?) ClearVue, so it would be better suction, but if it is a worthwhile... I might pull the trigger on the larger over arm down the road...

Thanks!

It looks like I can't PM you. Maybe because I haven't posted here before? Can you PM me to start the conversation?

Thanks all - the planer, Biesemeyer, and possibly the Sawstop dust arm are all claimed. Thanks!

BIG price-drop on the lathe to hopefully get it moved to a new home this weekend while I’m in “reorganizing mode”….just sayin’! Thanks!
