How much is a fair price for "rustic cherry" per board foot? I've had some for about 3 years, and I'm selling it and most of my tools on Craigslist (Greensboro).

It's rough cut, and has been sitting on my wood rack in my garage since I picked it up from Wall Lumber about 3 years ago. I can't remember how much I paid for it!

Thanks,

I paid $4.00 a BF for FAS cherry in the rough about 5 months ago. That is cheaper than Wall has it for now.

Thanks Jeff. I looked on Wall Lumber's website first, since I bought the wood from them. They no longer have "rustic" cherry listed. It's going to have more defects than their standard cherry offerings, I imagine. I think I'll ask $1.25 per board foot. It's not going to do me any good without tools to work it.

I think I paid somewhere around $300 for 100bf, but I can't find my receipt. I'll sell all of it for $125.

Here are some pictures of the rustic cherry.

Three sample boards - first in reach. These are probably representative of the rest, on average.

Someone will be by to take first dibs on Monday, and a second person is in queue.

Thanks for looking,
