I was watching You Tube Shorts and this Video of this router plane came through the cue. I thought this might be useful especially when a glue seam moves on you, I screen shot a couple of pix of the tool and figured it should be pretty easy to put together.
What appealed to me about this, . was the long plane base would help prevent the router form being unstable and gouging the wood.
I got some ss hardware, then got some wood, used Baltic birch ply as the base -
Used some Mahogany sides, turned a knob (kinda did that lame just was winging it)
Made the handle out of Oak.
I made it big enough to handle a bigger router. I used my Dewalt as the test router, but after using it my 2 hp Rigid will be way better.
Anyway, it actually works well, really well considering I am using a cheap bit on it. I ordered new bit and am waiting on that.
