I am attaching molding to the outer edge of a piece of 3/4" plywood that is the base for a display cabinet. My design calls for finished molding to be 3/8" x 3/4" with a 5/32" ogee bit edge, I have a 1/4" ogee bit, would that work or do I need to purchase the 5/32 bit? This molding is to wrap around the plywood and cover the raw edge. Lorraine

The 1/4" and 5/32" refers to the radius of the ogee. The 1/4" will be a little taller and wider then the 5/32", which means if you make the molding to cover the plywood edge the flat steps on the molding will be smaller. Why don't you take a scrap piece of the stock for your molding and run it with the bit you have and see how it looks to you.

Thanks Tom, I pulled out a bit, ran it and loved it, I have already finished and installed the molding and it looks great. Thanks again. Lorraine
