I am selling an "Economy Quick release front vise." I believe I purchased it from Woodcraft. WoodRiver Economy Quick Release Front Vise | Woodcraft

I am selling this because I bought a pattern vise.

$70, Pick up in Mountain City, TN.

This vise has a quick release feature that uses a pivoting nut. (The nut is currently held in place by a piece of string, so I don't lose it)

The vise opens to about 11' and is 9" wide with an overall length of 22".

Included are the handle and a wooden jaw.

Cash or Paypal.

Wow, home made handle?
What's the second (short/wide) slot on that insert for?
I read "Quick-release feature lets you slide the vise all the way open or closed with a turn of the 1" diameter main screw" and "a piece of string, so I don't lose it." So, a bit confused. Is the quick release feature disabled or, if the now owner cuts the string will it work 'as advertised?'

Yes, the new owner will remove the string, then it will function as designed. I was cleaning up the shop and I didn't to lose any parts.
It is a home made handle.
