Quick Project

Here is a quick project I completed recently. It will be for my son when he is a bit older. For now my wife uses it to help reach into the crib (she is even more vertically challenged than I).

It is a very simple design, slightly modified from the one in Popular Woodworking's "I Can Do That" series. It can serve as a step stool or a child's seat by folding the back up or down.

Made from some walnut cutoffs that I had. Finish is danish oil, though I might add some poly over the top.

Tom, the basic design is from Popular Woodworking. I will have to check the issue number. I made a few minor mods to suit my needs.

I do not know which looks better. the stool, or the rug. They definitely complement one another.
