Problem With 14" Bandsaw

It looks like someone is making an improved upper hinge assembly for the delta, which I’m guessing also works with the imports:

Yea, that is what I saw.
Sticking with my Harvey :) That is actually the only issue with a Jet as band saws have not really changed in 100 years, so no need to replace one when they can be tweaked. Flat rear guide vs edge rear guide? Not sure it matters.

CS Machinery has been around for decades. That iron or steel hinge idea is a self-evident solution to a common problem that has appeared in the last decade or so because s many people were using the little 14" band saw with those big wide blades that required so much tension. The low cost Asian import machines made that problem even more prevalent. Making the entire mechanism from cast iron would be a vast improvement.
