Porter Cable Router Base Recall

I was in Woodcraft recently and saw there was a recall by Porter Cable on some of the bases on some of the 3 1/4 HP routers. The router base does not have insulated gripping surfaces and could present a shock hazard. The models affected are: Model 7518, 7519, 7519EC, 22-7519-60, 75361. The affected models were all built before 2014 and have uninsulated handles on the base.
They provide a toll free number, 1-888-344-7973 that can be accessed between 8AM and 6PM EST. Alternately, you can e-mail, support.portercable@sbdinc.com for help in getting a replacement router base.
I called them yesterday and it took about 5 minutes for them to get all the information to send a replacement.

I sent them a pic of the motor nameplate on my 2006 Model 7518.

I sent PC an e-mail over the weekend giving serial and manufacture date. Just got an e-mail response asking for a shipping address for UPS delivery of the new base. Said to expect delivery within 7 - 10 days.

Looks like the system works.
