Portable Mill

I have a friend that has several large oaks, walnut, pecan, and red cedar that they want milled. Does anyone know anyone who has a portable mill that can come to Rocky Mount? Several large logs are already on the ground and ready to go.

I'd check with Scott Smith (scsmith42) or Thomas Rajala (SOFsawmill). They are both based in the Raleigh area. If I were to guess the travel cost would drive cost/BDft up more than the wood is worth.

Didn't Woodmizer used to have a way to tell you if there was a sawyer in your area? Try their site and see if they have a list.
