Pegboard workshop walls. Who has done this?

I have one sheet of pegboard for tools and another sheet of pegboard to hang jigs and everything else is french cleats or cabinets. To mitigate the pegs coming out when I remove the tool, I use pegboard locks and find them to be very effective.

As others have said, the pegboard can be a pain to clean as it collects dust and cobwebs. That is a downside.

The advantage of pegboard is that you can easily see everything on it. It makes it easy to find things and for a visitor or guest to find things as well. It is also easy to re-arrange.

That being said, I had pegboard in my last shop and I am not putting it up in the new shop. We will see how it goes.
