I built a router table top out of 2 pieces of 3/4 mdf and laminated the top of it. After thinking about it, I wish I had edged it with hardwood before I laminated it to help protect it. Instead, I will probably laminate the edges.
In fact, my other post about using a table saw disk sander to make a router template is what I plan to use to round off the corners on this table top.

Any thoughts on this gizmo from HF to trim it? I have a 3 1/4hp router and not too crazy about trying to get the thing balanced on its edge to try and use that to trim the laminate off. In fact, I've never trimmed laminate before
Thnx...Steve
