I just finished a shipping/packaging cabinet for a company in Fayettville. Pictures attached. They are wanting they're emblem cutout and torched to go the front.

Not sure the best material to use, plywood or glue up. Also not sure on what something like that would generally cost. The space for this is 28" high and 7ft long. I dont have a CNBC to do the cut out.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks all.

If you can find a piece of plywood with enough grain/character it would work. Depends on the look you are after. Gluing up will give you a busier more interesting grain when burnt but may distract from the sign.

I'm guessing they are wanting the cutouts and not the negative (the sheet/glue up itself with the logo cut out)? If the former I'd do glue ups, if the latter the plywood might not look bad since it'd be bigger and less distracting with the less figure in the grain.

As far as cost...can't help there. I'd look around or ask in the cnc forum if anyone near you has a machine that could cut it. Would make that part much easier. Split some of the profit with them.

They just want the shield emblem. Not the whole sign.
