New Segmented Turning

I've been thinking about a large turning in white and black so decided to do a smaller prototype and this is what it turned out like. 6.75" tall, 17 rings, and 529 pieces with 16 pieces in the top ring (wenge), solid bottom (wenge), and 32 pieces in the remaining rings (aspen and veneer) plus veneer between each row. It's about 3/8" thick and finished with wipe on oil based poly. Now on to the bigger version.

What will the dimensions be for the larger vessel?
Also where did you get the aspen?

I got the aspen at Kluttz. It’s very easy to work with.
Not sure on dimensions for the larger - that’s up to my wife, but it sound like she’s thinking 24” tall.
