Member Signup Rejected?

A guy in Boonville tried signing up with NCWW this week. He doesn’t think he was approved. The username is Sapper33, I believe.

Any pointers?

He should have received an email that his request was rejected

Tom, their IP address pointed to a web hosting service based in LA, California. That web hosting service (GlobalTeleHost Corp.) is known for a very high % of spammers and our system flagged it as the result. Our system of checks on new users works fairly well but nothing is perfect. If he has any questions or can give an explanation have him send me an email lkgscott@outlook.com.

It could be that he was using a VPN that masks his IP address. GlobalTeleHost provides that type of service (which could be resold by a 3rd party VPN service). Given that spammers probably use the same service to mask their IP, might not be surprising that his IP was caught in a spam filter.
