May have found the "missing link" for my carving bench

The little bench/table has not gotten much use yet in the temporary form, but what little it has seems to confirm it will work for me. But I still want the swivel/tilt capability. The other night my wife and I were chatting while going through the mail and she mentioned she was just about done with all the shopping right about the time I was flipping through the WoodCarver's Supply catalog. I told her it was too bad my list didn't have room for this:

She took the catalog away from me, marked the page and stuck it in her pile. Got my fingers crossed. I guess I better head over to Archivers to find out what this "scrapinator" thing she has been talking about is...

Andy, Just in case Santa doesn't come through, check out the home made vise at this link. Simple to make and not very pricey.

I don't have a welder; the post says $45 in parts and if I have to get the welds done I would probably be pretty close on money spent. OTOH, he went to Home Depot for trailer parts and HF would be significantly cheaper. Thanks!
