This looks like a fun build. They call it a cross-lap table. Hard (figured) maple for the legs and curly babinga (probably spelled wrong) for the top. Flip the colors around, walnut legs with birds eye top would be amazing too! This is the short video but search it on youtube and see the whole thing.
