Looking for a local woodturning group

I live in West End and I am trying to connect with a local (Sandhills) wood turning group. Anybody have any thoughts?

I see one in southern pines on that list. That appears to be the closest to you.

I did find the group in Southern Pines and it is only 22 minutes from her per WAZE. It sounds like a very active group and I am scheduled to attend my first meeting on Feb 12. I'll keep you all apprised.

Soon to be living in the Sanford area and am also interested in a local area group. So fill us in - how was the meeting/group?

Group was well attended and seems to be well run. Interesting demo and fun "Show and Tell"

I joined and am looking forward to attending regularly.
