Leather for Leather Inlay

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a source of leather to be used as inlay for a desk project I'm planning. I've found a couple of on-line sources but they seem to want your first-born plus shipping.

Have any of you had any experience here or have any ideas?

The owner has recently retired to the Winston-Salem area and has very good specials on high end leather. They can advise on which type is best for inlaying.

Have you tried J. H. Cook, INC, Highway 52, Granite Quarry, NC. Since I just drive over when I need something, I don't know about their catalogue or on line services but I understand that they do have an internet site. I find their prices are reasonable and their quality is excellent.

I was just going to say that Tandy is right up Independence from Matthews. I've been in the store and they have a great selection of leather.
