How everytime there's a good deal on Worksharp 3000's it causes Tormeks to go up on the "For Sale Column". It seems that most people used their Tormek for chisels and planes mostly. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that kept their Tormek after using, and buying, a WS ?

Interesting observation. I did not join in the WS 3000 activity recently as I have a slow grinder with a Wolverine jig, and a Tormek. I just don't feel the need for a 3rd system. I am interested in the answer to your question.

I have the WS 3000 and the slow grinder w/wolverine system for turning tools, the WS will touch up the turning tools but I still like the grinder system. I never purchased a Tormek system or one of it's types because I couldn't afford a sharpening system like that just to sharpen chisels and planes ( I send all of my planer and jointer blades out) . I still use stones for knives and other things.

The Worksharp, and it's brother the Drill Doctor, have been an epiphany for me.
