I got a new sander

For many years I've been using a 3M ROS air sander and a Festool ETS 125/3. There's been a lot of times I felt I needed something more aggressive, getting tired of things looking good, but when stained or finished, there are some mill marks or drum sander marks.

I bought a Bosch GET75 6N, which is Bosch's answer to the Festool Rotex. The little I've used it so far is just to test, but I can already see I should have gotten is a long time ago. I plan to get a hard pad.

If the other Bosch sanders are of equal quality I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I have their bigger 6 inch. Love it when I need to go aggressive. ( Well usually if that bad, I go for a plane) Anyway, low vibration good tools. I use the 3M Xtract for fine work where I am not using a card scraper.

I have the 65, the 5 inch version of the same. It is a good sander for sure.

Paired with my festool midi and cubitron or similar mesh sandpaper, I have no issues with dust collection.

How is the vibration? Does it leave your have feeling numb after extended use like a 5" one does? Is this for just aggressive work or can it be used for fine, finishing work as well?

I've never had any issues with extended sanding sessions. It has a side mounted handle or can be gripped around the head.

Now if you run it on turbo at full blast and don't secure your workpieces, it can sling them right across your bench! But you're probably not turbo moding constantly.

I haven’t used it for an extended period, but the vibration doesn’t seem bad at all.
