2. I used Dave-O' 20% HF Coupon yesterday at the Asheville HF store. I picked up the 2HP DC that was on sale for $169.99 (down from $229.00) with the 20% coupon it came out to $136.00.
There was considerable trouble w/the coupon. The computer would not accept the bar code and the manager tried to use her double 10% but the computer still wouldn't take it because the DC was already deeply discounted. I said I'd skip the DC if I couldn't use the 20% coupon and the manger then spent about 20 minutes on the phone w/HF home office. They said the coupon was no longer valid but since the manager was persistent they agreed to the 20% off.
Bottom line $136.00 + NC tax of 9.18 = $145.18 for a 2HP DC.
