I think that it's just a typo...
The decimal point needs to be moved 3 or 4 spaces to the left. 😏

Looks like a different take on modern inset Carbide cutterheads. So probably the same way after you soak the whole thing in a bathtub if vaporust.

I think that was a Newman head that Delta offered for a while as an upgrade accessory.
That type of head has been around for decades from various planer makers.
One day the carbide chippy heads of today will look like that. They work great until they don't.

I googled it and got pics of old planers and dandruff.
Also look up “helical cutter head,” which is what Whitney called them.

Someone listed a Whitney with that cutterhead today and I thought of this thread!
