I’ve seen quite of bit of discussion here recently on Harvey table saws. I know a few members (@tvrgeek and maybe some others) have one and have given positive reviews. Harvey seems to be known for their “flash” sales that run about every other day, and I’ve noticed over the past week that their 4hp dovetail trunnion saw has been slightly cheaper than their 3hp standard worm gear trunnion saw. Any thoughts on why the 4hp is cheaper? All specs are exactly the same other than hp and weight, with the 4hp weighing about 55lbs more.
It seems that Harvey is the only company that makes a dovetail trunnion. Maybe the dovetail trunnion isn’t all it’s cracked up to be?
