The directions are direct and to the point. Not a bad project. Cuts like a hot knife through butter!

I bought the simple hock iron instead of the LV kit. The kit looks like the way to go! Thanks for posting.

Looks great! I am definitely needing to make a couple of these. I have the Lie Nielsen Boggs shaves, and I love them, but I make planes and other tools already. Need to add these to the list.
