I started this during a class many years ago and probably will never finish it. Any carver or wannabe carver who would like it as a practice piece?

We could pair your shell with my one (1) carved ball and claw leg (from a class years ago).

Call ‘em an art piece. Art pieces always have fancy names - how about “Unfinished business #1”?

Or just "Unfinished Busin_______________"

Boy with all this unrestrained enthusiasm I can't wait to get started on carving!

I carved more than a few Newport style shell concave and convex carvings. They are not a beginners carving, they have kicked many an intermediate to advanced carvers butt. The most sinister part of those shells, is the carving in the center medalion.
