I’ve had this PowrKraft (Montgomery Ward) rip hammer for about 60 years and it felt good thus no reason to change. Could this be one of the preferred hammer brands re-branded?

When I wanted a larger hammer I went to HD and checked out their selections. I won't mention the brand but one of their fiberglass handled hammer models had the head mounted at a slight angle to the handle. Every one I looked at was like that.

For years, I was a big fan of Plumb hammers. The old ones are good, but the newer ones that I saw a few years back look like they were made in China.
