Pretty late submitting the "Who I am" thread. But... I'm a wood design student at East Carolina University in Greenville NC. Originally from Wilmington, but spend a lot of time in Boone. During the summers I guide white water and hiking trips in Boone and eastern TN. I find most of interest in woodturning, but I enjoy furniture and sculptural woodworking as well.
I'm still pretty new to woodworking, only been doing it for a few years here in school and minimally growing up. But so far since last June when I started visiting NCWW, I've learned a ton and everyone seems to be really nice and helpful. Once I can get around a camera I can get some pictures up and have the experts critique.
