its in my way and I want it gone. needs a replacement cyclone top as thats broken.
Its free but wouldnt mind some scrap wood for practicing dovetails with.

Miss understood the question. I was wondering the function of the tube that goes from the hose end back to the bin handle.

I think that you use that tube if you are using bags to collect debris and if you don't use a bag you disconnect or plug that tube.

Ah, if a plastic bag, you suck it to the bin. Strange way of doing it that it goes out to the far end of the hose. Maybe the hose is backwards in the picture.

mine doesnt have that tube, must be in a later version. I thought it might have to do with handling static.

Not static. To drain static needs a conductive material. They make conductive hoses, but they are a bit pricy.

Anyway, I guess I missed it. I want another one to dedicate to my band saw as it now works off a vac and not my big Clear View 1500. By the WEB objective tests, the Makita vac seems a better buy than another Fein.
