Thanks to NCWWer Tim (timf67) I was able to get a BIG upgrade in the shop that's been on my wish list for a long time now. We worked out a trade and I'm now the proud owner of a nearly perfect condition Performax 22/44 drum sander!:eusa_danc

Now I just need to put a much better filter on my dust collector (because this baby makes a mess!)

Congrats. I have a twin of yours. Nice machine. I find lots of uses for mine. A Tip: Take light passes - especially on Cherry or you will gum up the belts. DAMHIKT

Yeah, this is an upgrade for me. I was using the Performax 10/20 (which I lost in the trade, so don't ask) and used it often enough that the upgrade became apparent. Didn't think I'd have one so soon, but things worked out. The only downside I see to this one is the belts are closer to $9/ea instead of what I was getting used to at $3/ea!
