Diamond wheel dressing tool

I have never used one of these. I just bought a Rikon 80-805 low speed grinder that was supposed to include a dressing tool. It was missing so Woodcraft agreed to provide me with a ;comparable; one. Rikon does not state the grit of their diamond tool. The grinder includes wheels at 60 and 120 grit. What diamond grit should I get for the diamond dressing tool? It looks like the options are 36 or 120 grit. What has me confused is that I've seen recommendations to use a dresser 2 grits finer than the wheel but have also heard that the wheel grit and diamond grit are not measured on the same scale.

Before I switched to CBN wheels, I used a 36 grit dressing tool that I bought from Klingspor's

I have two, and they are slightly different. Not sure either is 60 or 120, but both work fine. I am not sure it matters any at all.
In the old days, we used the big heavy rotating star wheels. Some are even just a single point. Think about what it is actually doing. Knocking off bits of the wheel.
