countersinks and aluminum

How bad would it be to use something like this on a piece of aluminum? I need a shorten a piece of miter bar stock and will need to drill my own hole in order to fasten it down.

Keep your speed up and watch out for galling, though. Aluminum will tend to stick to the cutting edges on this type of countersink. DAMHIKT.

I like the single flute ones instead. Use some "tapping fluid" (also known as WD-40) on the hole to keep aluminum from sticking to counter sink.
