As you know, I creashed and burned with my first attempts at bloodwood.
It was the dull chisel....yeah..the chisel.

Well, I made the investment of the Wolverine.
And I made a Father's Day gift for my dad..

My 2nd attempt at bloodwood.

Try a diamond stone on the skew, makes a grinding wheel sort of like "sharpening" a popsicicle stick on the side walk.

Thanks..and yes, I really love the way Bloodwood looks when finished with CA. I will be using this wood again soon.

Great work Mike, you're really getting the hang of it. I agree with Eagle, I do sharpen on the grinder (except the skew) but then I further refine the edge with a little DMT diamond card. I think that you saw it when I sharpened your plane iron. That will put the final edge on your chisels. The skew should be sharped like a bench chisel on a stone to keep the flat bevel.
