I recently made a chisel plane from scrap wood and a chisel. It can be used as a shoulder plane or a chisel plane. I hope you guys like it and find it useful. Comments welcomed. :wsmile:

Looks good. I like that you used a wedge on this one as opposed to the screw. Does it reduce chatter more?

Looks like you have given me some more projects for the cold winter days coming up!! I also may try putting a depth stop on the side for cleaning up dados.

Yes, it seems that the chatter is significantly reduced. I like your depth stop idea! That's a good tip.
