the numbers are rosewood from tims parents scrap pile a few years ago as well. danish oil and wax.

Hey Fred - love the clock especially the rosewood "numbers". Reminds me of learning to type in Junior High School on typewriters that had no letters on the keys. It worked, and so does this neat clock.:icon_thum:icon_thum

I've got some cherry that's been lying around for a few years that just might wind up similar to that! Wonder if walnut would do for the numbers? :icon_scra

prolly so. gonna need a large forstner bit to cut out for the clockworks. I think I used 3 1/4" not sure.

Looks like somebody besides me has been getting in a little shop time. Very nice clock Fred. I'm sure the recipients will be proud.
